Longville, MN and it’s surrounding communities provide attractions for the whole family. With close proximity to Child, Girl, and Woman Lake, there are attractions both in and out of the water. Look for fun annual events, golf courses, and nearby attractions.


Turtle Racing

Longville is the “Turtle Racing Capital of the World” … races start at 2 PM every Wednesday during the summer. Children have fun finding their own turtles in the area or they can “rent a turtle” in town on race day …


Golf Nearby
There are two outstanding and challenging golf courses in the area. Make a local phone call to reserve your “Tee-Time”.

  • Walker – 30 miles

Boat Trips

You have access to three lakes without getting out of your boat — Woman Lake, Child Lake, and Girl Lake. These areas provide for a change of scenery and a variety for fishing. Take a boat trip to Longville where they have good dock facilities — tie up and enjoy local dining and shopping.

Four churches, one bank, ATM machines, a medical clinic, a grocery store, convenience stores, bait shops, laundromat, tennis courts, post office, restaurants, gift shops, hardware stores, and sport shops are located in the Longville area.

Longville also has a lighted, blacktop surface airport that is open the year-round.
